Patrick Hamilton Artist

   Canadian born artist Patrick Hamilton was fascinated with drawing at an early age.

A full time artist for over 25 years, he specializes in realist oil paintings and loves the challenge of realistically depicting a wide variety of subjects. He is initially interested in capturing the human body, which he mastered in college by drawing body builders and celebrities. His greatest facination is in the play of light. He is also passionate about nature and enjoys painting the beautiful landscapes of La Jolla, California, where you can find his peaceful outdoor studio and gallery set up near the Children’s Pool. With his high level of skill and passion, Patrick has produced over 500 commissioned portraits and sold over 100,000 prints and paintings.
